Services at Holy Trinity Church are offered in the beautiful liturgical form that has lifted the Church into the presence of God for more than two-thousand years. Intentionally God centered; Scripture, prayer, and the Sacraments are the heart of the services, which are based on the beloved 1928 Book of Common Prayer. All services are held at 11 am at Emmanuel Church, 2390 Emmanuel Church Rd. Powhatan, Virginia 23139, at 11am every Sunday morning.
Holy
Communion is
celebrated on the third Sunday of every month.
Beautiful and reverent, this service can be traced to Apostolic times and
emphasizes our spiritual union with God through the atoning cross of Christ.
Morning
Prayer is observed
on all other Sundays. Dating to the
early church, when the people gathered daily to pray and worship, this service
is deeply reverent and deeply spiritual. The Litany may be said or sung monthly
on the fourth Sunday.
